British singer Lily Allen has had a tough time in the last few months,
having suffered a miscarriage and a break up, and her new album seems
to reflect her mood.
She has strayed from the cheerier songs of her debut and gone introspective,
focusing on the cons of fame. She mentions her break up and other fears
she had to battle, thesun.co.uk reports.
In one of her songs, "I Don't Know", Allen sings: "I
don't know what's right and what's real any more." She adds: "I'm
being taken over by the fear."
And on the sensitive subject of weight, she sings: "Everything's
cool as long as I'm getting thinner."
