Materials

Method

Making a bud with cotton

Fish wire is a broad plastic tape with thin lines on it.  Take few pieces of the fish wire, of 6 inches each. From one end of each piece, leave one inch and cut along the lines without separating it, keep it aside.  Take a  copper wire (used for the stem) of 10 inches length. With cotton,  make a small bud, cover it with the satin cloth (as shown in the picture), tie this to the top end of the wire, the center part of the flower is ready. The  length of the stem can be  made long or short.

Tying petals around the bud

Tie the 6 inch piece fish wire petals to the wire (Stem). Now tie petal by petals around the bud, (tie them firmly to the stem wire because the satin cloth and the plastic fish wire are quite smooth) Until it turns out to be a thick flower.

Covering the stem with the green tape

Using the green tape wrap the stem wire to the end. The flower is ready and can be arranged with fresh leaves. This flower is washable, while washing, the stem should not get drenched. Fish wire is available in many colours, so colourful flowers in different shades can be made.
