                        Layered Parathas

Ingredients:

Maida
Wheat Flour
Ghee
Rice Flour
Baking Powder
Butter
Salt to taste
little sugar

1 cup
1 tbsp
1 tb sp
1/4 tsp
1 tsp

 

Mix all ingredients except ghee and rice flour to a smooth and soft dough. Keep it for 2 hours. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Make chapathis out of this.

Mix ghee with rice flour.  Spread rice flour and ghee mixture on each chapathi. Keep one above the other. Roll the chapathi layers like a spring roll. Cut into equal portions. Spread again and fry on hot tawa (pan) with oil or ghee. You will get layered parathas. Serve with Coconut chutney and Vegetable Kurma.
