Ladies Finger Soup
Method 1
Ingredients :
- Ladies Finger - 10nos
- Oil
- 1tbs
- Small Onion - 4nos
- Cumin Seeds - 1tsp
- Salt
- to taste
Method of Preparation :
Cut the ladies finger into small pieces. Add some
salt and cook it in one litre (4 Cups) of water. When it is done puree the
soup and
sieve. Heat oil in a vessel and saute the sliced onions and cumin seeds
together. When the onions become red in colour add the soup into it . when it
boils remove from fire.

- Curry
leaves - 1flake
- Pepper
- 1/2tsp

- 1/2tsp
- Fennel
- 1/4 tsp
- Clove
- 3
- Dal or lentil boiled
- 1tbs
- Salt
- to taste
- Oil

Method of Preparation :
Clean the ladies finger and cut into 2inche
pieces. Saute it in a little oil and keep aside. Chop tomatoes and big onions
well into small pieces. Split the chillies into two.
Heat the oil in a pan. Saute pepper, cumin,
fennel and clove in it. After that add chopped onion, tomato, green chillies and
curry leaves. When it is done add the cooked dal water and cardamom
powder. When it boils, garnish the soup with coriander leaves and
remove from fire. If you want clear
soup you can squeeze and strain the contents.
