Semolina Vada
Ingredients :
- Semolina (Rava) - 1cup

- Butter or ghee
- 1tsp
- Milk (enough to make a batter with Semolina
(rava)
- Soda powder - 1/4tsp
- Chopped onion - 2 dsp
- Green chillies cut into round pieces - 1dsp
- Finely chopped ginger - 1/2dsp
- Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1dsp
- Salt
- to taste
Method :
Mix semolina and butter with the hands. Take some
cold milk and dissolve soda powder in it. Add this to the semolina and make a thick
batter. Add all the other ingredients to it. Heat oil in a pan. Shape
the batter into round balls with a small hole (like doughnuts) in the middle and deep fry.
Serve hot.
