Prawn Mappas
Ingredients:
- Prawns
or Lobster -
250gm
- Oil-
2dsp
- Mustard

- Onion
- 1/2cup
- Garlic
clove - 1tsp
- Ginger
-1/2tsp
- Water
-11/2cup
- Kodampuli
( cocum- a kind of tamarind), Salt - to taste
- Green
Chillies - 2
- Curry
leaves - 1 sprig
To be ground :
- Coriander
roasted and Powdered-1dsp
- Red
Chilli roasted and powdered -1/2tsp
- Turmeric
Powder -1/4tsp
- Pepper
powder - a small pinch
- Garlic
flakes -2
- Fenugreek
seeds

a small pinch
Method of Preparation:
Grind
the ingredients to be grounded finely. Heat oil in a frying pan and season mustard.
Saute in Onion,
garlic, ginger, ground masala and boil adding water, tamarind and salt. Add
green chillies, curry leaves and prawns and mix well. Cook till done. Serve hot.
