Papaya Chutney

Ingredients:  

Small raw papaya peeled and coarsely grated   

- 1  

Green chilies slit   

- 4-5  

Cumin & Mustard seeds   

- 1/4 tsp each  

Asafoetida   

- 2 pinches  

Sugar   

- 1 tsp  

Lemon juice   

- 1 tsp  

Coriander finely chopped   

- 1 tsp  

Oil   

- 1 tsp  
Salt to taste      

Method of Preparation: 

Heat oil, add cumin and mustard seeds, asafoetida, allow to splutter. Add green chillies, stir, add papaya. Add all other ingredients, mix well, remove from fire. Cool, serve with papdi.
