Dhal Pudding
Ingredients :
- Bengal Gram Dhal - 250gm
- Ghee
- 50gm
- Molasses
- 200gm
- Cardamom powder - 1/2tsp
- Raisins
- 10gm
- Cashew

Method :
Cook the bengal gram dhal well and grind it. Fry the
raisins and cashew nut in the ghee and keep it aside. Add two cups of
water to the molasses and keep it in the fire. When the molasses melts remove from
fire. Remove all the impurities from the molasses solution by
filtering it. Place it again in the fire and add the ground dhal to it. Stir it
well till it becomes a thick solution. Add the ghee, cardamom powder and the
fried raisins and cashew nuts. Stir it well and remove from fire. When it
gets cool, keep it in the refrigerator and serve.
