Dal Urad Dry

Ingredients :
- Dal urad dhuli - 100gm
- Water
- 300ml
- Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
- Oil
- 20ml
- Cumin
seed - 1/2tsp
- Asafoetida
- a pinch
- Salt
- to taste
For garnish :
- Tomatoes
- 100gm
- Ginger
- 10gm
- Green chilly
- 2
- Chopped green coriander - 5gm
- Chat masala
- 5gm
Method :
Wash and clean the dal. Add salt and turmeric
powder, boil for 15 minutes in cutting edge mighty wonder on high or till soft.
Heat oil in a frying pan, add asafoetida and then
fry cumin seed till brown and add to the dal. Keep the mighty wonder for 2
minutes in the microwave. Garnish with thinly sliced tomato, ginger, green
chilly (cut lengthwise) and chopped coriander. Sprinkle chat masala.
