Shiffon Cake
Ingredients :

Egg white of 4 eggs

Powdered sugar - 1/2cup |

Egg yolk of 3 eggs |
Method :
Ground cinnamon, clove and nutmeg and take 1/4tsp
of it. Sieve the 1st ingredients together.
Mix refined oil and powdered sugar. Add the
egg yolk one by one and continue beating. Add brandy, vanilla essence and the
lemon skin
and beat again. Warm milk and butter in a small dish and pour it into the
above mixture.
Beat the egg white. Add sugar in it and beat again.
Add the sieved flour and all the other ingredients into it. Spread some flour in
a funnel shaped vessel. Pour the cake mixture in this and bake in a preheated
oven, at 4000C, for about 1/2 an hour.
Ingredients for butter icing :
- Icing sugar - 200gm
- Butter
- 100gm
- Coco powder - 11/2dsp
- Water
- 1/4cup
Method :
Mix the coco powder in the boiled water and make a fine
paste. Mix well by adding the icing sugar and butter. When the cake is done,
allow it to cool. After that, cut it into two halfs.
Take some icing and apply it on the split edge of
the cake. Rejoin the cake pieces. Apply the remaining icing over and around the
cake. Decorate the cake with white icing .
