Ingredients :

Cakes cut into 1inch pieces

- 2 cups

Orange juice

- 1/4 cup

Egg

- 3

Boiled milk

- 2 cups

Sugar

- 5 dsp
Powdered Cardamom - 1/2 tsp

Method :

Apply oil in an aluminium vessel. Fill three fourth of the vessel with cake pieces and orange juice.

Beat the eggs. Slowly add boiled milk into it. Beat again without allowing it to curdle. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Pour this over the cake pieces and cover with a lid.

Heat some water in a big aluminium vessel. When it boils, place the pudding vessel in it. Keep weight over the lid of the pudding vessel. Also cover the big aluminium vessel with a lid and place weight over it. Cook the pudding in medium flame for half an hour. The pudding will get spoiled if it is cooked on a high flame.

When the pudding is done, remove the lid carefully. Do not allow water on the lid to fall in the pudding. When it  cools, place into a serving bowl. Decorate with grated coconut and fruits.
