Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Cook the onions and garlic till the onion becomes translucent. Remove onion and garlic and set aside.
Now add the lamb to the pan and brown on all sides over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, tomatoes, strained marinade and rest of seasoning. Bring to boil for 15 minutes.
Transfer chops and sauce to baking pan. Bake uncovered for 3 hours or until meat is tender. |
