Home > Category > Curries > Non Vegetarian

Ingredients:
Mutton - 1/4 kg
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Black / White Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 piece
Cloves - 4
Garlic cloves - 2 no's
Onion sliced - 1
Ginger - 1 piece
Green Chilly - 2-4
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Veg.Oil / Coconut Oil - 2 tbs

Method of Preparation :

Wash and clean the mutton and drain. Grind the masala. Heat oil in a mud pan / pressure cooker, add the sliced ingredients to it and add masala. Fry it till the masala separates from the oil. Pour some water, so that the spices didn't get burnt. And add the meat, cook till tender.

Cooked on a low flame is healthier and also the spices get into the meat well. When it is cooked in the pressure cooker, it takes 20-30 mins to cook.

Optional :

If u want thick gravy, you can add 1/2 cup of thick coconut milk, that will give you an added flavor. To make it into a wholesome meal, you may add boiled potatoes or carrots.
