Kamla Retreat situated on Kamala Nehru road, is a beautiful estate privately owned by the Singhania Family of M/s Juggilal Kamlapat. Sprawls over several acres of lush greenery, the estate houses a museum, park, swimming pool and a mini zoo. The museum has a good collection of historical and archaeological artifacts and the zoo is the home to several species of animals, reptiles and birds. In the park there is a canal with facilities for boating. Artificial waves can be produced in the swimming pool with hi-tech facilities and at night it is beautifully illuminated by psychedelic lights. Though it is a leisure spot, one can visit it only with prior permission from the administrative deputy general manager of the Kamla retreat.
