The Green Park stadium, formerly known as Modi Stadium, located near the Civil Lines is the only international cricket stadium in UP. Established in 1945, the stadium has a seating capacity of 45,000 and is under the control of sports department of UP Government. International cricket matches are held at this famous play ground and it is one of the best pitches in the world.
