The Nana Rao Park previously known as Memorial Well Garden, is located in the city center on Mall Road, to the west of Phool Bagh. After independence, the park has been renamed as Nana Rao Park after Nana Rao Peshwa, the hero of the first War of independence in 1857. The park is beautifully designed with flowering plants, fountains and trees and has a plant nursery.
