This Gurudwara was constructed after the demise of Guru Govind Singh
for his memory .It is located in Jagraon 38 km from Ludhiana on Ferozpur
road. It was built in 1975 by Baba Nand Singh with the help
of the devotees on the site of an old mud hut, the place where Guru
fall at he time of war .It is architectured very beautifully.
It is a six-storied structure with a huge marble-floored hall and
sanctum at its end. In this Gurudwara a fair is celebrated in the memory
of the Saint in August every year for five days. Gurudwara was blessed
by the visits of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Har Gobind Ji and Guru Gobind
Singh Ji, so separate Shrines dedicated to each one of them are built
around this Gurudwara. They are:
Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Pehli: This Gurdwara is built in the memory of
the visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.It is situated on the banks of Nanaksar
Sarovar. Guruji came to this village along with Bhai Mardana and Bhai
Bala.
Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhevin: This Gurdwara was built by Sant Sunder
Singh Bhindrawale in 1921 in the memory of the visit of Guru Hargobind
Ji ,who stayed here after winning the battle of Mehraj in the year 1634
A.D and also he was served by one of his devotee Bhai Jakko and Guruji
blessed him. It is located near to the Gurdwara of Nanaksar Gurudwara.
Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Dasvin: This Gurdwara was built by Sant Darbara
Singh of Lapon in 1962 in the memory of the visit of Guru Gobind Singh
Ji .It is situated on the eastern side of the Nanaksar Sarovar where
the guru believed to be bathed. This Gurdwara is the place where Guruji
came to Takhtupura in December 1705 A.D on his way from Chakar to Dina.
The main festivals celebrated here are Prakash divas of Guru Nanak Dev
Ji, Guru Hargobind Ji, Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Shahidi Divas of Guru
Arjan Dev Ji and Jor Mela is conducted very enthusiastically from
January 13 th -17th , which attracts sangat from all over.
