Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib is located in the heart of the city in the
famous Field Ganj area opposite to Jagraon Bridge . Every day, about 50,000
devotees of different religions visit this gurudwara to worship
the Guru . This is the first Gurdwara in India where the Hi-Tech
projector is used for spreading the message of Guru all over the world,
which helps the devotees to watch on wide screens, the hymns of the Gurbani sung
by the priests as Kirtan and so devotees can better understand the
meaning of the hymns of the Gurbani- literally means 'the words of
the teachers' and can also read and sung along with them
