Khandadhar falls , situated 104 kms from Rourkela at
Nandapani in Sundaragarh district is one of the highest waterfalls of
Orissa and the 12th highest in India. Categorised as a horsetail waterfall,
this cascade located amidst the lush greenery of unpolluted forest, falls
from a height of 244m. Khandadhar fall is created by a perennial rivulet
called Korapani Nala. The beauty of this glittering waterfall multiplies
during the monsoon months when the water from the rivulet overflows and
it drops down as a fall from a height of 800 feet.
