Jama Mosque, one of the famous mosque in Thane, is a large building situated in Mohagir Guftar. Though the construction date is anonymous, it is said that the mosque was repaired by the widow of Jusab Menun during the seventies of the last century. The masjid premises has a lake and adjacent to the lake, there is a Dargah built in the memory of the saint Nuribaba. To commemorate the death anniversary of the saint, every year a urus is held here on 10th of December which attracts a large crowd.
