Bund Garden/ Mahatma Gandhi Udyan

Bund Garden also known as Mahatma Gandhi Udyan, is situated 7 km from Pune Railway Station, in the Koregaon Park area, on the right bank of rivers Mula and Mutha. The garden consists a dam built by Mr. Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy with an aim to provide water to the poor farmers for farming. Bund Garden derived its name from the mini dam (bund) built across the Mula-Mutha Rivers. Visitors can enjoy boating through the rivers. One can also visit the nearby Gandhi National Memorial or Aga Khan Palace through the bridge built on the river. This famous garden of Pune is home to a number of migratory birds during winter. The lush green lawns, attractive plants and big trees gives calmness and cool fresh air to refresh the minds of the visitors. There is a well-designed jogging track near the Garden for the joggers and morning walkers. Magic shows and Horse Riding conducted in the garden are the other attractions.
