Mumbai Zoo
This zoo is a part of Veermata Jijabai Bhonsle Udyan Botanical Garden.
There are tigers, lions, elephants, bears and monkeys. Inside the Zoo's
triple arched Italianate gateway is the bronze statue of Edward VII astride
a black horse. Nearby is a plant house with a skeletal iron framework
and a wooden lattice skin.
The zoo is open daily except Wednesdays between 9am
and 6pm.
 Kamala
Nehru Park
Named after Jawaharlal Nehru's wife, this park is at Bal Gangadhar Kher Road.
The park has a children's play ground, a giant boot which kids can clamber inside.
From this park there are beautiful views of Chowpatty Beach, Back Bay and the
city.

Hanging Gardens (Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens)
The Hanging Gardens (Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens), on Bal Gangadhar Kher Road
at the top of Malabar Hill, contain interesting bestial topiary (clipped hedges)
and shy courting couples. These gardens are located just opposite to Kamala
Nehru Park. These gardens are popularly known as Hanging Gardens, because of
their location on the slope of a hill.
Nishiland Water Park
 Located
near Panvel, at Vinegaon, Nishiland is spread over 56 scenic acres of greenery
set amidst Sahayadri mountains. The park's main attractions are wave pool, children's
play pool, a water slide, a boating lake, a 'Rub a Dub Jacuzzi', an air conditioned
video games parlour, shopping arcade, a highway restaurant serving Indian, Chinese
and Gujarati food etc.
Access: 5 Km from Ghatkopar and a 10 minute drive from Karjat Station,
around 70 Kms from Pune.
Timing: 1000 to 1800.
Entrance Charge: Adults Rs. 200/- Children & Senior Citizens (proof

Tikuji-Ni-Wadi (Water Park)
Tikuji-Ni-Wadi (Water Park) is located at Manpada village,
Chitalsar, Thane, 40 kms away from Mumbai City, on the Ghodbunder/Thane Road.
The park's main attractions are Junior Worm Coaster, UFO Cycle, Whirlwind Chairs,
Space Ship, Bumping Boats, Funny Bunny, and a vegetarian multi cuisine
etc.
Access: Nearest Railway Station: Thane (Central Railway), from where the journey
by road is 20 minutes. Also approachable by road via Thane on the Eastern Express
Highway.
Timing: Water Park 10 am to 6 pm, Amusement Park 11am to 7pm.

Fantasy land is located in

Essel World
 The
first amusement park in Mumbai. It is located just outside the city limits in
Gorai village, across the creek from Borivili or Malad. It has over 30 rides
for both adults and kids. The main attractions are roller coasters, big dippers,
whirligigs, slides, dodgems, train rides etc.
Access: Nearest Railway Stations: Malad or Borivali, from where the journey
must be made by road and sea (Ferry). Also approachable by road via Bhayandar
on Western Express Highway.
