St. Thomas Church located at Aranattukara, a small suburb of Thrissur
is famous for its Aranuttakara Perunnal held on the first Sunday of the
year annually. This church was built when a Statue of St. Sebastin was
found by the the boatmen who were on the trip to Kochi for their supplies.
