Catholic Church
Situated at Kozhikode city, Catholic Church is believed to have been built in the 18th century. It has wonderful images of crucifixion and the Virgin Mary on the alter. 

St. Mary’s CSI Church
Widely known as English church, St. Mary’s Church is located at Nadakkavu, nearly 4km from the city. The church was built by the British in 1860 to satisfy the spiritual needs of their Christian members of the collectorate and the English military. The construction of this protestant church was completed in September 1863. There is a tomb in the cemetery near to the church dates back to 1717. The church has been renovated several times with the passage of time.

Mother of God Cathedral
Mother of God Cathedral which is considered as one of the oldest churches in Malabar is located ½ km from the city close to the beach road.. Built in the Roman architectural style, the church dates back to 1513 AD, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. The added attraction of the church is a 200-year-old portrait of St Mary. Even though the church has undergone refurbishments in the 17th and 18th centuries, it has been renovated recently with out causing damage to its old architectural style.
