Popularly known as Kollam Port Church, the Church of Our lady Purification is believed to be one among the ‘seven and a half’ churches founded by the Apostle St. Thomas. Because of sea erosion, the church was reconstructed thrice. The present church, built in 1993, is located a few distance from the KSRTC bus stand, near to St. Joseph’s high school.
