The beautiful park cum animal conservatory, kadri hill park is situated 4kms east of Hampankatta (Mangalore city center). It is the highest and the largest garden in Mangalore city, mainly meant for children. Various entertaining facilities are provided here including a children toy train. The adjacent animal conservatory is the home to various kinds of reptiles and rare species of birds. Spotted deer, sambar, leopard, jackals, monkeys, ant eaters, crocodiles, etc. are some among the animals found here.
