Panambur beach, the favorite spot among the sunset watchers, is located in close proximity to the Mangalore Port, about 12kms from the city. The beautiful coastline of the beach comprises of long stretches of sand are dotted with palms. The beach is the venue of the kite festival, usually conducted during the last week of April.
