Located at the centre of the HDMC gardens, Indira glass house is a unique
palace made of glass which was inaugurated by the former Indian Prime
Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi and hence called Indira Glass House. Resembles
Lalbagh Garden at Bangalore, the glass house has expansive lush green
lawns and skating ground. It is the venue for conducting flower shows,
various exhibitions and cultural programs.
A laughing club was inaugurated here on 22nd of April 2000 for laughing
exercise. It is conducted in the morning for half an hour with free of
cost. Large number people are participating in this exercise for enjoying
good health and sound mind.
