Opposite side of the Lal Quila at Netaji Subhash Marg(Road)  is a delightful and unusual attraction. It is a hospital for birds.  This hospital was started in 1956 by Jains.  This three storied hospital is used to treat  vegetarian  birds and rabbits.  The courtyard is used for carnivorous birds and needy animals. The hospital is modest and shows how render loving care can stretch limited funds. It has an intensive care  unit and a research laboratory too. The birds are fed, bathed and given vitamins. Due to this, the health birds refused to leave the hospital.  The flocks of birds swirl around its roof  can be seen every time. Visit daily  8 - 8, entry- free.
