The temple dedicated to Lord Balaji was built in 1610 A.D. by Shri Balbhadra
Dasji and Shri Bhosleji. The beauty of this temple lies in the pictures
adorning the walls of the temple. These pictures depict the life of Lord
Rama. The idol of Lord Balaji has 'shaligrams' placed near it. Shaligrams
are considered to be symbols of Lord Vishnu and it is believed that these
shaligrams were found floating in the river Gandaki in Nepal. The temple
is located in Raigarh district, east of Raipur
