This small museum, administrated by the Industrial Department of Assam, is located near the Assam State Museum. Established in 1955, the museum displays many colourful items from the Satriya culture and indigenous art and craft. One of the group of the exhibits of the museum is the handicrafts and cottage Industries which showcases products of bamboo and cane works. It opens from 10am to 4.00pm on weekdays and 10am to 1.00pm on Saturdays.
