Krishna Pushkaram 
Pushkaram is a festival held once in twelve years on the banks of the rivers Godavari, Krishna and Pennar in Andhra Pradesh. The venue for Krishna Pushkaram is Vijayawada. Various rituals are performed and people throng in thousands to take a dip in the sacred river. Many cultural programs are organized and a number of shops selling sweets, jewellery and decorative items come up in nearby areas.
