pay packet varies according to qualification, experience and skills. At the
initial stage, a trainee jewellery designer can expect a salary of Rs 7,000-Rs
8,000 per month. With experience, they would be paid a sum of Rs. 18,000 to
20,000 per month. In retail stores, one can work on a commission basis and
depending upon the organisation and their talent, they would be paid extremely
well.
The earnings of a freelance designer depends upon the designer's creative
skill and how successful they are in selling their work. A typical freelance
jewellery designer can make anywhere between Rs.10,000 to Rs.30,000 a month.
