Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT)

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (K-MAT) is a common entrance test conducted by the Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) for admission into MBA and MCA Programs offered by affiliated colleges of various Universities in Karnataka. The test is mandatory to fill the seats under management quota and is open to students throughout the country.

K-MAT is conducted every year generally in the month of June/ July and is permitted by the Government of Karnataka. The State Government has fixed a 50:50 ratio for sharing MBA and MCA seats with the private college managements. The Government's share of seats will be filled through a common entrance test conducted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
