The CAT bulletin containing the CAT Application Form and other information
can be obtained from the branches of UTI Bank/ designated Post offices on
payment of a requisite amount. The candidate needs to buy only one CAT Bulletin
irrespective of how many IIMs he/she is applying to. All candidates must enclose
the Bank counterfoil with the CAT Application Form. Candidates buying the
form from UTI Bank/ Post Offices/ IIMs must enclose the 3rd Copy of Bank's/IIMs'
Pay-in Slip bearing the Candidate's name with the CAT Application Form. Candidates
should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria of the programme in which
they are interested, before procuring the CAT bulletin. The candidates belonging
to OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories are requested to indicate their status while filling-in
their form and enclose supporting document as a proof that they belong to
the specified caste/categories. CAT application forms of ineligible candidates
and application forms with incomplete information will be summarily rejected.
No claim of refund will be entertained on sold Bulletins.
Bulletin can also be obtained directly from any one of the IIMs by hand or
by sending a crossed demand draft for the requisite amount drawn in favour
of the respective IIM. Request for bulletin should be accompanied by a cloth-lined
self-addressed unstamped envelope of size 12" x 10". CAT applicants
applying for PGP in Software Enterprise Management (PGSEM) at IIM,
Bangalore and Executive Post-Graduate Programme in Management
(Exec-PGP) at IIM, Indore are required to submit a separate application
for PGSEM and Exec-PGP which may be submitted online, or can be downloaded
from the respective institute website.
The completed application form with supporting documents should be sent so
as to reach the concerned IIM on or before the prescribed date.
The test Admit card with the test registration number and the address of
the test venue will be mailed to the candidate by the appropriate IIM.
Reservations : As per Government of India requirement 15%
and 7½% seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates, respectively. 3%
seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD). The three categories
of disability are: a) low-vision/blindness, b) hearing impairment, and c)
locomotor disability/cerebral palsy.
