Post Graduate Programme : The objective of P.G.Programmeme is a continuation of technical expertise acquired in Degree Programmes. This will also offer the opportunity to the candidate to acquire skill to work on R&D projects and to promote industry institute interaction
Discipline : 
  1. M. Tech. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering (25 seats)
  2. M. Tech. in Food Engineering & Technology (25 seats)
  3. M. Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering (18 seats)
  4. M. Tech. in Polymer Technology (18 seats)
Entry Qualification : 
  1. Manufacturing System Engineering: Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in Mechanical, Production, Welding, Industrial, Manufacturing or equivalent.
  2. Food Engineering & Technology: Bachelor Degree in Food Engineering/Technology/ Food processing/Agricultural Engineering(with specialization in Food Processing Engineering/P.H.T) or equivalent.
  3. Instrumentation and Control Engineering:Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/Electronics/Electrical/Electronics & Communication/ Industrial Instrumentation or equivalent.
  4. Polymer Technology : Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, B.Tech. in Polymer/Paper Technology, M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Polymer Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Industry Chemistry or equivalent
Duration :
2 years.
Admission Procedure :
  1. Student with 50% marks in Degree Programme is eligible for admission to M.Tech./ P.G.Programme.
  2. For admission to PG Courses, first preference will be given to students having cleared GATE and their admission shall be made on the basis of merit of GATE marks.
  3. If seats remains vacant then admission will be on the basis of SLIET entrance examination SET-VI.
  4. If still the seats remain vacant the admission shall be made on the basis of merit of Degree Programme
