JET consists of three papers of two hours duration each. All questions will
be of objective type only.

- Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech. degree course should appear in
Papers I & II.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.D.S., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc.(Agri.).,
B.Sc.(Nursing), B.P.T., B.Sc.(MLT) and M.B.B.S. degree courses should appear
in Papers II & III .
- Candidates seeking admission to the B.Pharm. degree course should
appear in Paper II and, Paper I or Paper III.
- Candidates seeking admission to all the above mentioned degree courses
should appear in all the Three Papers.
The test will be held in various centers in four regions such as Puducherry,
Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam.
Hall Ticket
Shortly after the receipt of the filled-in JET application that is complete
in all respects, Hall Ticket for JET, containing the Registration Number,
Name of the Candidate, Photograph, Entrance Test Centre and Papers the candidate
may take, will be despatched to the candidate. The Hall Ticket must be produced
at the time of the Entrance Test for verification. No candidate will be permitted
to write the Entrance Test without the valid Hall Ticket. The hall ticket
must keep even after the entrance test because it should be presented at the
time of counseling for admission.
