The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be mostly based on the  10+2 Science syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of  Gujarat. 

The Gujcet exam will be conducted as four papers for each subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology) between April -May. Each paper contains 40 questions. The Marks and Time allotted for each paper is 40 M and 60 minutes respectively. The medium of examination will be English.
