Educational Qualification

A pass in Intermediate Examination with Chemistry, Physics and Maths as subjects or appearance at 2 nd year Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) conducted by the Bihar State Government, Education Department, with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent thereto.

Minimum Age limit:

For Engineering/ Pharmacy Stream, there is no minimum age limit
For Medical Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December, 2007 and
For Agriculture Stream, the minimum age must be 17 years as on 1st July, 2007.

Domicile Restrictions: Residents of Bihar. Candidates whose parents are employees to Tata Iron & Steel Company are eligible to seek admission at Bihar Institute of Technology (BIT), Sindri only.
