Admission

The selection will be based on the score on the MHT-CET. The Selection Process will be separate for degree courses in Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy. The respective Competent Authorities shall devise the system of Counseling/Allotment. This procedure shall be governed by the regulations and directions specified by the Govt. of Maharashtra from time to time.

The Competent Authority for selection to Health Science degree courses is The Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai. The Competent Authority for selection to Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses is The Director, Technical Education, Mumbai. The Concerned Authority for selection to BVSc & AH degree course is The Registrar, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Science University, Nagpur .

The competent authority will condut four rounds of centralized admission. The CAP shall consist of first three (3) rounds of Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates of respective rounds (both Maharashtra and AIEEE) will fill & confirm separate/fresh Online Option forms for respective rounds. Fourth round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates. Details of eligibility for each round of CAP, method of reporting after each round, availability of seats for each round and such other details will be given in a separate Information Brochure which will be made available to the aspiring candidates at the time of filling up of the option/preference form.

In the case of candidates securing equal number of marks in MHT-CET-2007, their relative merit will be fixed on the basis of the following order of preference:

(a) A candidate securing higher marks out of 100 in the subject of Mathematics in MHTCET

(b) A candidate securing higher marks out of 50 in the subject of Physics in MHT-CET-2007.

(c) A candidate passing the SSC (Std. X) examination with higher aggregate marks out of 750.

(d) A candidate securing higher marks out of 150 in the subject of Mathematics at SSC (Std. X) Examination.

(e) Birth Date of the candidate (Elder Candidate will be given preference)
