Eligibility :
A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or its equivalent in any discipline
from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Students
appearing for the final examination of a bachelor's degree can also apply.
Admission Procedure:
The prospective candidates are required to take the Common Admission
Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on November 28, 2009.
Applicants are required to fill in the application form of the Institute
of Management, Nirma University in addition to the CAT form. The institute
uses CAT for short-listing the candidates. The IIMs have no role either
in the selection process or in conduct of the programme.
Short-listed candidates will be invited for personal interview and
group discussion at select centers. The final selection to the programme
would be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test, group
discussion, personal interview and work experience.
The following weightage will be given for each component of the selection
criteria :
- Written Test : 70%
- Personal Interview : 20%
- Group Discussion : 10%
An additional score upto 10 points for work experience will also be
given for full-time work experience at managerial level in a professional
organization.
