Age Limits& Sex :
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not
have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2008 , i.e.
he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1983
and not later than 1st August, 1988 .
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the
post of Assistant Commandants in CRPF. However, for appointment
to the post of Assistant Commandants in BSF, ITBP and SSB, only Male
candidates are eligible.
Educational Qualifications :
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from recognised University
or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates who are studying in final year Degree Course and have yet
to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can
also apply for examination, but they will be required to submit proof
of passing by the specified dates published in Commission's Notice for
Examination.
How to Apply :
Candidates must apply In the Common Application Form devised by the
Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated
Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice)
throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees twenty
only). Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination.
