Eligibility :
A three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline recognized
by the Association of Indian Universities as eligible for Post-Graduate
studies in Management.

Application Procedure :
XAT Bulletin & XLRI Prospectus can be obtained from XAT Office,
XLRI Jamshedpur, 831001 and can also obtain from select branches of State
Bank of India (SBI) spread over 111 cities on payment of the specified
amount.
Registration for XLRI Admissions - 2008
- The applicant has to log on to the institute website
and go to XLRI Registration. Here he/she has to fill in the XLRI
form and opt for the programme(s) he/she intends to apply for. The candidate
has to provide personal details, XLRI Prospectus number, Date, amount,
SBI branch name and submit the form online. After submission the candidate
will immediately get their XAT ID and password.
- Once the candidates provides the bank detail they can proceed to take
print out of XLRI Payment Advice Form (XLRI PA Form).
- The candidate has to enclose the third copy of bank/XLRI pay-in-slip
along with the duly completed XLRI PA Form and use only the special
envelop provided with the XLRI Prospectus and send it by registered
post /speed post/courier within a week of obtaining the XLRI Prospectus.
- Candidates interested in XLRI, has to first register for XAT. The
XAT ID and password so obtained are required for applying to XLRI.
- Candidates intending to apply for any one of the programmes can obtain
XLRI Prospectus from select branches of State Bank of India on payment
of Rs. 800/-
- A candidate can apply for more than one programme, but not more than
three programmes. If he/she intends to apply for more than one programme
he/she needs to pay an additional amount of Rs. 200/- (total Rs. 1000/-)
towards XLRI Prospectus.
- If a candidate has paid Rs. 800/- towards applying for one programme
in XLRI and afterwards decides to be considered for multiple programmes
he/she can send a crossed demand draft of Rs. 200/- in favour of XLRI
Jamshedpur payable at Jamshedpur along with
(i) Name of the candidate
(ii) Complete address
(iii) XAT ID number
(iv) XLRI prospectus number
(v) E-mail address
