Written Admission Test is conducted by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) for admission to Hotel Management, Law, Fashion Design, Dental Sciences, Engineering and Education (B.Ed.) in various Indian Army institutes.

Issue of prospectus & applications : January 05 to March 15, 2008  Last date for receipt of completed application forms (Candidates applying for the admission to any of the three institutions AIE, ACE, AIHE to send their application forms to AIE only) : March 15, 2008  Last date for receipt of completed application fomrs with late fess of Rs 100/- at AIE : March 31, 2008  Dispatch of CWAT admit cards through registered. post / speed post to the candidates from AIE Delhi Cantt : April 07, 2008  Date of WAT at various institutes   AIE, ACE & AIHE : 20 April, 2008   ACDS, CAN & AIN : 25 April, 2008   AIL : 26 April, 2008   AIHM & CT : 24 April, 2008   AIFD : 30 April, 2008  For AIT Date of AIEEE (First submit application form to CBSE for AIEEE as per their instructions. Programmes Offered : BEd Programmes are offered in : (i) Army Institute of Education (AIE), Delhi No. of Seats: 100. Affiliated to GGS Indraprastha University Delhi. Qualification: Graduate with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Age: Below 35 years as on 01 Aug 2008. (ii) Army Centre of Education (ACE) No of Seats: 60. Only for female candidates. Affiliated to Barkatullah University Bhopal. Qualification: Graduate with minimum 45% aggregate marks. Age: There is no age limit for admission to B Ed. (iii) Army Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), Pathankot No. of Seats: 100. Affiliated to GNDU Amritsar. Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Age: There is no upper age limit. Prospectus can be obtained by paying an amount of Rs. 450/- in regestered post and Rs. 400/- by hand. BDS Degree is offered in Army College of Dental Science (ACDS) , Secunderabad BSc Nursing Programme are offered in (i) Army College of Nursing (ACN), Jalandhar No. of Seats: 50 (ii) Army Institute of Nursing (AIN) Guwahati No. of Seats: 40 Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Age between 17-25 yrs as on 31 Dec 08 Prospectus can be obtained by paying an amount of Rs. 500/- in regestered post and Rs. 450/- by hand. BA LLB Degree is offered in Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali No. of Seats: 80. Limited seats for Punjab and All India Civil candidates. Qualification: 10 + 2 with min 45% aggregate. Age: Below 21 years as on 01 Jul 08. Prospectus can be obtained by paying an amount of Rs. 650/- in regestered post and Rs. 600/- by hand. BHM Degree is offered in Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (AIHM & CT), Bangalore No. of Seats: 60. Qualification: 10 + 2 with English as compulsory subject. Age: Below 22 yrs as on 01 Jul 08 Prospectus can be obtained by paying an amount of Rs. 550/- in regestered post and Rs. 500/- by hand.
