Explaingin the saga of Chandrayan,  Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is to join the Volvo Ocean Race Exhibition.

The exhibition is to spread awareness on India’s progress in space science. Basic information on the functioning of remote sensing satellites, communication satellites, Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicles (GSLV) and Polar Satellite Launch Vehicles (PSLV) along with the history of the Indian space programme will be made available to the people. The main focus this time will be on expedition to the Moon. There will be models of Chandrayan and PSLV. Audio Visula presentation is also being arranged Exhibition will strart on 2nd Decemeber.

Race’s Official sponsors like Volvo, Puma and Erricson will open pavilions in the Race Village. Exhibition is from 11 AM to 10 PM. When yachts reaches Cochin General Public will be allowed free entry in to the Race Village.
