Nagaland, one of the seven sister states of North East India is abundant with picturesque landscapes covered mostly by high-altitude mountains and lush flora and fauna. Home to around sixteen tribes, the state is unique for its cultures and hospitality. State is bounded by Myanmar in the East; Assam in the West; Arunachal Pradesh and a part of Assam in the North with Manipur in the south.
The climate of Nagaland is comfortable all through the year. The best time to visit Nagaland is between the months of October to May. Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Mon, Tuensang, Zunheboto include the main tourist destinations of Nagaland. Tourism department of Nagaland conducts exciting long treks and various adventure trips to invite more tourists to state.
